Thunderbird & Whale Block Print - Limited Edition
Thunderbird was the smallest of all birds with a big appetite. And as he ate Thunderbird began to grow and grow. Mosquito and Squirrel no longer held its attention…soon he was after Caribou and Moose.
On a windy day, a hunter at sea looked out over the horizon. Is that Eagle with a fish, far off in the distance he thought to himself…but soon lost interest. Suddenly a gust of wind assailed his Qayaq. CLAP…CLAP…CLAP, a frightening and mighty sound was heard all around.
To the hunter’s amazement, he realized it was not Eagle returning home with Fish, but a mighty bird carrying Whale.
Rushing home the hunter told young and old of the mighty bird whose wings clapped like thunder.
Each print is numbered and signed by the artist in pencil for authenticity.

Custom Gallery Framing (add on option)
Each frame is made by the artist for an added personal touch to your artwork. Cherrywood frames with contrasting spline corner reinforcements add strength and a visual pop to the finished look.
Why does the artist choose Cherrywood over other species? Cherrywood starts out as a light golden/pinkish tone, and darkens to a rich reddish-brown color as it is exposed to light. This creates a generative appeal to the frame over time.
Each Frame is finished with a paper backing to protect the image from dust intrusion. Felt buttons are added to each corner helping to protect both the frame and wall surfaces, and self leveling wire hardware is added as a finishing touch allowing for the perfect placement of your finished work of art in your collection.

Ultraviolet coatings offer superior protection against both direct and indirect sunlight, allowing you to confidently display your art near natural light sources, reducing the risk of fading colors.
