Two Siblings Smirking
Commissioned -Anchorage, Alaska
‘We’d love to have these represent our daughter and son, and both their Alaska native and Polish heritage!’ ~ Client
Two siblings smirking with one another as though they know something you don’t…that is the impression I get when seeing the faces of these ‘Finger Mask’ dance fans.
They are colored to celebrate both cultures!
The red and white Polish, the blue and natural ochres are Alaskan Native.
I too have Polish in my family tree from my mothers side of the family. What a joy to create these in such a way.
To honor those that have gone before us through the next generation!
